“ This is an exquisite place and a must for us on our London visit. Sally Clarke, the owner chef, visits each table in the most unassuming way possible like bringing bread to the table or snacks; what a privilege that is. Service is most welcoming and accommodating. Wine selection is superb, we had a Burgundy (see pic), and the food is the reason of reasons to must go. Jersey Royals were in season and prepared simply and were amazing. Our table of six tried all kinds of meats and each memorable and fresh. Highly recommend. ”

As a Californian, with a high respect for Alice Waters, a mentor to Sally Clarke, I wanted to revisit with my London-resident children for a celebratory dinner. We were all thrilled with our experience. The waiters were such professionals, friendly and helpful, but discreet. The seasonal menu and daily suggestions made it very hard to choose our courses.
